GRUPO YBARRA new member of the Spanish Brands Forum

With 173 years of history, the food company is present in over 80 countries worldwide.

The Board of Directors of the Association of Spanish Brands (AMRE) unanimously approved the admission of Ybarra Group as a new member of the Association, recognizing the prestige and international presence of the brands that make up the group.

Ybarra Group, with 173 years of history, sells several brands of oil, among which there are 2 major lines: Extra Virgin Olive Oil from Ybarra and Extra Virgin Olive Oil from La Masia. It also offers a variety of products (mayonnaise, sauces, vinegars, vegetables, olives, tomatoes and salt) based on the selection, modern systems development and stringent quality controls. Ybarra pioneered in 1965 in the preparation of mayonnaise and sauces, is today a leader and specialist at the national and international level.

Meanwhile, Rafael Ybarra, president of Ybarra Group, emphasized the export potential of the brand since its inception in 1842, and the principles of quality and reliability recognized in the national and international markets as determinants to be present at this prestigious forum.

Founded in 1999, the Spanish Renowned Brands Forum is a public-private strategic alliance composed of more than one hundred outstanding Spanish companies with leading brands in their respective sectors, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, the Ministry of Economy and Finance, the Ministry of Industry, the Spanish Institute for Foreign Trade (ICEX) and the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office (SPTO). It aims to boost at all levels the strategic importance of Spanish leading brands, and promote the image of Spanish products and services abroad through these brands and with the support of the administration.
